BioI'll admit it outright - I am a noobie. Technology amazes and frustrates me simultaneously. This is my first attempt at any sort of blogging. I was just getting used to posting on message boards...
Anyway, having two children while being a "geo-single mom" isn't really conducive to having a lot of time to fool around with all this cool technology, so I apologize in advance if this journal is fairly bare bones. As I get time this summer, I will try to research and experiment more.
Onto the bio part of this bio section - as I previously stated, I am a mom of two children - an almost 6 year old girl (going on 25, but aren't they all at this age) and a newly 2 year old boy who is discovering and developing his personality more and more each day. I am a stay home mom at the time, but going to school part time to get a second bachelor's degree in accounting. I have 2 classes to go after this brief summer semester, then I start studying to sit for the CPA exam. After that I have to get a REAL job!!! (And some much needed adult conversation without kiddies interupting).
I love movies - all kinds of movies - good ones, bad ones, guilty pleasures - you name it, I'm a junkie (ok, save for the whole horror genre - that one I can do without). My tastes range from Wayne's World to Gone with the Wind. I just like to escape into another world. My kids have picked up on that trait of mine and become instantly mesmerized when the WB logo, Columbia lady, etc., comes onto the screen.
On the small screen, I have become a Lost fanatic. Luckily my dad and one of my neighbors (and friends) are as well. We get on the Lost board together, and my dad and I even text message all through the Lost episodes (during commercials of course). I also find the sitcom, "The Office" (the American version) a riot. I am, of course, a sap and love the would be romance between Pam and Jim.
Other than that, I spend most of my time caring for and doting on my children. I hope to post to my journal often (is that even the correct terminology?)...
